One of my first memories, when
I was a little child,
Was being proudly sat upon his knee, as he looked at
me and smiled.
Then put the wheel of that tired old tractor, in my small wonder
filled hands.
As together we rode gallantly, across his precious land.

was always time for a story line, when the evening rolled around

matter what the question was, we knew an answer would be found.

that he taught us, were those that books could never teach.

of those around you, and the strength in family ties.
He believed hard work
and patience brought with them their own rewards.

when a good man gave his word.
